Why this matters
Today, MSPCA at Nevins Farm currently has three main areas of focus: intake, adoption, and keeping pets & families together. Even through COVID-19, Nevins Farm has remained open to continue to be a safe haven for animals in need. They continue their adoption program during the crisis using a virtual adoption counseling and developing a safe no-contact process for adoptions.Along with this, a primary focus has been making sure that no pets go hungry during this crisis, and making sure that low-income pet owners have affordable access to urgent critical care for their pets. Nevins Farm has partnered with food banks & pet supply companies, as well as expanded on their community outreach program to make this all possible.
